Gas Valves are meant to be tight, and this “cast metal” tool breaks like it’s peanut brittle. I would hate to have depended on it for an EMERGENCY…..!!!!

This is a terrible product. It is “metal” but cheap pot metal, with little or no strength. Mine broke immediately the first time I tried to use it. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I thought this was going to be the size of those little car-escape hammers. But I should have checked the dimensions!
Works as promised. Would have been nice if they put a hole in the handle, down by the star wrench, so I could attach it with a cable to something. I could do that through the gas shutoff wrench, but I didn’t want any cable interfering with that function.

You may not need it now, but when you do, it’s too late if you don’t already have one.
A recent hurricane caused a water leak at my home. Shutting off the water without the proper tools can be a messy, knuckle busting affair. Throw in a swarm of hungry mosquitoes coming out of the meter hole and you have an experience you will not soon forget. A gas leak would have been much worse.
Should be standard issue with every house.
